Efficacy of paraffin therapy combined with Jinhuang powder in managing phlebitis induced by peripheral intravenous catheters in oncology patients
蜡疗结合金黄散治疗肿瘤患者浅静脉留置针所引起静脉炎的疗效观察

摘要

目的 探究蜡疗结合金黄散治疗肿瘤患者浅静脉留置针所引起静脉炎的效果。方法 选取2019年8月-2020年8月闵行区肿瘤医院，收治住院肿瘤患者728例进行研究，728例患者有52例患者出现静脉，52例患者依据入院前后分成对照组和观察组，每组26例，对照组金黄散外敷于静脉炎处，观察组蜡疗结合金黄散外敷，对比两组患者治疗效果。结果 观察组患者的治疗效果优于对照组，p<0.05。结论 对浅静脉留置针所引起静脉炎患者提供蜡疗结合金黄散治疗，可以提升患者治疗效果，值得提倡。

Abstract

Objective This study explores the effect of wax therapy combined with Jinhuang powder in treating phlebitis caused by peripheral venous indwelling needles in tumor patients.
Methods From August 2019 to August 2020, 728 hospitalized tumor patients were selected for a study at Minhang District Tumor Hospital. Among these 728 patients, 52 developed phlebitis. These 52 patients were divided into a control group and an observation group based on their status before and after admission, with 26 patients in each group. The control group received external application of Jinhuang powder on the phlebitis site, while the observation group received wax therapy combined with Jinhuang powder. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.
Results The treatment effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group, p<0.05.
Conclusion   For patients with phlebitis caused by peripheral venous indwelling needles, wax therapy combined with Jinhuang powder can improve treatment outcomes and is worth promoting.
